Brief Solution Focused Therapy for Health Issues

In this type of therapy I offer brief, focused visits on a specific health issue or personal concern.  These appts typically last 25-30 minutes and include 2-4 follow up sessions ever 1-2 weeks and then as needed.

Insomnia: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) is proven to be effective for people experiencing sleeplessness.

Chronic Pain: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT- a mindfulness based CBT) is proven to help people with ongoing pain to better manage their symptoms and not have pain interfere so much in their lives.

Other health issues I have experience treating: Obesity, Diabetes, Alcohol and Drug Misuse, Stress, and Fatigue.
